Mir Nasir freed on bail

Former State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mir Mohammad Nasiruddin was freed on bail from Bangabandhu Sehikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) prison cell Wednesday afternoon, reports UNB.
Prisons officials said Mir Nasir was freed from the prisons cell at about 4.00 pm. The Army-led joint forces arrested the BNP leader on February 5 last year in a drive conducted against suspected corrupt politicians, business tycoons and other influential people who were said to have amassed money by plundering public wealth.
