Mirza Abbas' condition showing improvement

Social Welfare Minister AZM Zahid Hossain says that the condition of BNP leader Mirza Abbas has improved during his treatment at Singapore General Hospital.

On Monday, he said: "I have spoken to the doctors. They say they are seeing positive signs on different parameters. His condition is improving, Alhamdullilah."

"It is a matter of the brain. It will take a little time. I ask everyone to pray for him." Abbas, the political advisor to the prime minister, was taken to Singapore from Dhaka via air ambulance on Mar 15, report agencies.
