Mollah buried at his ancestral graveyard

FARIDPUR, Dec 13 (UNB): War Crimes convict Andul Quader Mollah who was executed Thursday night was buried at his village home in Sadarpur Upazila early Friday.
He was laid to rest at his family graveyard at Amirabad village around 4:15 am.
Quader Mollah was hanged at 10:01 pm Thursday in presence of Dhaka district magistrate Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah Harun, Civil Surgeon Abdul Malek Mridha and Imam Abdul Hye.
After the execution, an ambulance carrying the body of Quader Mollah came out of the Dhaka Central Jail around 11:15pm and reached his village home around 3:15 am under the escort of police, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in 12-15 vehicles.
His body was handed over to his family members in the village. Later, he was buried beside the grave of his mother after funeral prayers.
