MEHERPUR, Nov 12 (UNB): The police on a court order raided Sunday the rented house of fugitive Abdul Gani, former lawmaker of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) accused in a number of criminal cases, for attachment of his moveable property but nothing of worth was found.
Informed sources said the police did not go to Gani's own house adjacent to the rented one at Gangni.
Ghani had joined Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) deserting the BNP.
He is believed to be staying now in Gazipur.
