Movement to continue until victory: BNP

BNP Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Thursday said they will continue their movement until they achieve the victory. ‘BNP has been on a movement for the last five years to establish people’s rights. We’re still on the movement, and it’ll continue until the final victory is achieved,’ he said. Mirza Alamgir was talking to reporters after placing wreaths at the grave of BNP founder late president Ziaur Rahman with the leaders of the party’s newly-formed Dhaka city unit committee. He hoped that the Dhaka city unit under the leadership of party standing committee member Mirza Abbas will play a vital role in intensifying their anti-government movement. Mirza Alamgir said they together with people will force the current regime to hold a fresh election under a non-party administration, according to a news agency.
