Mozammel for truth commission to punish anti-liberation forces

Minister for Liberation War Affairs AKM Moza-mmel Huq said on Saturday the government should form truth commission for holding the trial of those who opposed the War of Liberation, reports BSS.

"There is an urgent need to form truth commission to bring the conspirators at home and abroad to book," the Minister said this while addressing a discussion as the chief guest marking the Independence and National Day.

Bangabandhu and Jatiya Char Neta Parishad organised the discussion titled "Bengalees struggle for independence, Liberation War: Bangabandhu and Bangladesh" at Begum Sufia Kamal National Public Library auditorium in the city.

"Betrayers like Ziaur Rahman and Mustaq hatched conspiracy during the Liberation War. Following their footsteps, Khaleda Zia and her party are now killing people through announcement," Mozammel also said.
