Mustafiz\\\'s death anniv today

The 13th death anniversary of former lawmaker Mustafizur Rahman will be observed today (Monday) in a befitting manner, reports BSS.

Popularly known as "Dwip Bandhu", Mustafizur Rahman died at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore on this day in 2001.

On the occasion, different political and social organisations of Swandwip have drawn up weeklong programmes that include arrangements of Qurankhwani and Milad Mahfil, distribution of foods at orphanages and holding memorial meeting and 'mezban'.
