Nagarik Oikya demands reforms before polls

RANGPUR, Aug 19, 2024 (BSS): Nagarik Oikya President Mahmudur Rahman Manna has demanded bringing necessary reforms in the state system before holding a parliamentary election in the country.

"The polls should be held within six months," he told reporters after offering prayers at the grave of martyr Abu Sayeed, who was killed in police firing during the quota reform movement, at Babanpur village under Pirganj upazila on Monday.
