Nasim Osman laid to rest

AKM Nasim Osman was laid to eternal rest with full state of honour at Masdair graveyard in Narayanganj Friday, reports BSS.

He was buried beside the grave of his father former lawmaker AKM Shamsuzzoha after third Namaj-e-janaza held on BB Road near DIT Market railway mosque Friday.

Earlier, a smartly turned out contingent of police presented a guard of honour to late Nasim Osman as the bugle played the last post.

Mayor of Narayanganj City Corporaton Dr Selina Hyat Ivy presented wreath the coffin of Nasim Osman.

Another report adds: Namaz-e-Janaza of Nasim Osman was held at the south plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Friday morning.

Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Chief Whip ASM Feroz, cabinet members, Prime Minister's Special Assistant and Jatiya Party Chairman Hussain Mohammad Ershad, among others, attended the janaza.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina paid her last tributes to JP lawmaker AKM Nasim Osman by placing a wreath on his coffin Friday.

After placing the wreath, the PM stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of respect to the JP leader.
