Naval Chief Vice Admiral Sarwar Jahan Nizam made a courtesy call on President Professor Dr Iajuddin Ahmed at Bangabhaban in the city Sunday, reports UNB.
During his routine visit, the Naval Chief apprised the President, also the Supreme Commander of Armed Forces, of various issues relating to Bangladesh Navy.
He sought continuous support and cooperation from the President in discharging his duties.
The President gave the Naval Chief a patient hearing and assured him of all cooperation.
Among others, Military Secretary to the President Major General M Aminul Karim, Secretary M Sirajul Islam and Press Secretary Abdul Awal Howlader were present on the occasion.
