Former BNP leader Nazmul Huda announced Saturday formation of a new political party named Bangladesh Manobadhikar (human rights) Party (BMP), reports BSS.
He made the announcement at a press conference at his business office at Topkhana Road Meherba Plaza in the city.
The new party will work for establishing good governance as a component of country's third political alliance 'Bangladesh National Alliance,' Huda, a former minister said.
He called upon all human rights bodies in the country to rally round the BMP to ensure a system for national election where the people's will can be reflected.
