Necessary measures taken to ensure justice: Chief Justice

KHULNA, April 20 (BSS): Chief Justice ABM Khairul Haque has said necessary steps have been taken to ensure justice quickly for the litigants. "Digital process has been introduced in the judiciary for quick dispensation of justice in the country," he said. The Chief Justice made the remark while addressing a function organised by Khulna Zilla Ainjibi Samity at its auditorium here last night as the chief guest. The Chief Justice expressed the hope that the logjam of cases will be resolved soon and hopes and aspirations of the justice-seekers will be fulfilled. If the quality justice could be developed at field level, Khairul Haque said, the people would be benefited besides increasing their confidence in judges. With president of Khulna District Ainjibi Samity Advocate Masud Hossain Roni in the chair, the function was addressed, among others, by District and Sessions Judge GM Salahuddin, former Speaker of Parliament Shaikh Razzak Ali, and senior lawyer Badsha Miah.
