New 10-member BCL committee of IU

ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY, Dec 4 (BSS): Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the students' wing of the ruling Awami League (AL), announced a 10-member new committee for its Islamic University (IU) last night, a BCL press release said.

M Saiful Islam, masters' student of Law and Muslim Jurisprudence, was named as the president while Amit Kumar Das, third year student of English as general secretary of the new committee.

IU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Abdul Hakim Sarker, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr M Shahinoor Rahman, among others welcomed and congratulated the new president, secretary and members of the new committee.
