New edn policy based on Khuda Commission soon

SYLHET, Mar 13 (UNB): Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid Friday said there will be no dropout in the country's educational institutions after 2017.

"The government has taken initiatives to remove dropout among the primary students and ensure education for all," he told a function marking the inauguration of a newly constructed building of Beanibazar Pourasabha.

Nahid said the government would soon introduce a unified and modern education system based on the report of Kudrat-e-Khuda Education Commission.

He further said technical education would be introduced at thana level to create a trained class of youths.

UZ chairman Abdul Khalek Mayon, vice-chairman Abul Kashem Pallab and UNO Azizul Isalm were, among others, present.
