New HC bench to hear Abbas\\\' bail pleas

Following the split order by a High Court (HC) bench on BNP leader Mirza Abbas' bail pleas, the chief justice has assigned a new bench to hear them, reports bdnews24.com.

 The bench of Justice Md Ruhul Quddus will hear bail pleas in two cases filed by police today (Monday), the High Court's Additional Registrar Sabbir Foyez told the news agency on Sunday.

 Meanwhile, another HC bench is expected to hear a third bail plea in a graft case involving the Dhaka South mayor aspirant on Monday.
