Newspaper staffer killed in city road crash

A newspaper press employee was killed and four other people were injured as a pickup van carrying newspapers overturned on the road near Kamalapur Pir Jangi Mazar in the city's Shahjahanpur area early Friday, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Mashiur Rahman (35), a press employee of the 'Daily Manabkantha'.He hailed from Shariatpur district.The accident took place in the area around 2.00 am when a newspaper-laden pickup van crashed into a road divider.
