The next special extended meeting (3rd phase) of Awami League (AL) will be held on July 7 at Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's official residence Ganobhaban, reports UNB.
Sheikh Hasina, also the Awami League president, will preside over the meeting to be held at 11am on the day, says a press release on Saturday.
Members of AL central working committee and advisory council, and AL union-level presidents and general secretaries and Union Parishad chairmen from Rangpur, Khulna, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions will join the meeting.
AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader requested the presidents and secretaries of his party's district and city units concerned to send the names of participants to the AL president's Dhanmondi political office.
He also asked the participants to remain present at the extended meeting in due time.
The special extended meeting (2nd phase) was held on Saturday with the participation of union-level AL presidents and general secretaries, and union parishad chairmen from Chattogram, Sylhet, Rajshahi and Barishal divisions.
