CHATTOGRAM, June 09 (BSS): Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested nine members of a gang on charges of illegally cutting LPG cylinders and selling those in various re-rolling mills under Sitakunda, upazila of the district.
Over 10,000 empty gas cylinders were seized during the drive. Three separate cases have been filed against them.
RAB sources said the company used to buy gas cylinders at lower prices and illegally cut them and sell them at higher prices in re-rolling mills due to the increase in the price of iron.
