Nine individuals including Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JaSoD) president Hasanul Haque Inu and former cultural affairs minister Asazuzzaman Noor on Tuesday virtually appeared before a court in four cases linked to the July Uprising, reports BSS.
They were produced before the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Arifur Rahman on the virtual platform from Keraniganj and Kashimpur jails.
High Court division judge Justice Md. Akram Hossain Chowdhury was present virtually during the court proceeding and expressed his satisfaction over it.
Additional Police Commissioner (ADC) of Prosecution Division Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Main Uddin Chowdhury confirmed the news agency of the matter.
