Relief and Disaster Management Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya Tuesday said there was no scope for any compromise with BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia as innocent people were being killed at her directives in the name of movement, report agencies.
"The next general election will be held in 2019 as per the constitution and you (Khaleda Zia) would have to wait for next four years," he said while addressing an anti-hartal rally on Bangabandhu Avenue in the city.
Meanwhile, AL joint general secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif Tuesday termed BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia a militant and terrorist leader as a reaction after another mindless petrol bomb attack on a night coach last night that left at least seven people burnt alive at Chauddagram in Comilla.
"They burnt alive seven innocent people. It is not political movement, it is terrorism. Now people address Khaleda Zia as a militant and terrorist leader not as BNP leader," he said.
