JHENAIDAH, Aug 30 (BSS): Attorney General (AG) Md. Asaduzzaman has issued stern warning against corrupted people, saying that no one involved in corruptionwill be allowed to thrive in the emerging Bangladesh.

"No corrupt person will be allowed to rise. We are determined to expose hose responsible for corruption," he asserted.

His warning came as responding to questions from journalists following the inauguration of the regional office of the National University in the district on Saturday.

Describing Bangladesh as a nation caught in quicksand and standing at a pivotal crossroads, the attorney general said that Shaheed Abu Sayeed, Mugdho and Wasim sacrifices their lives in 2024 for the vision of a renewed country and that is why the corrupt individuals will not be given the opportunity to gain power.

The attack, he said, on Gono Odhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Nur was not an isolated incident, but rather a part of a deep-rooted conspiracy.
