Noor blames 20-party for killing people

NILPHAMARI, Mar 19 (BSS): Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor today said the allies of Pakistani occupation forces in 1971 are making evil attempts to go to power by killing common people in the name of movement.
"People of this country will resist their evil attempts," he said while speaking at a rally marking the inauguration of newly built academic building of Gorgram School and College in sadar upazila.
The minister also blamed the BNP-led 20-party alliance for killing people in the name of movement.
Earlier, the minister addressed another rally at Sadar Upazila Council ground where he distributed latrines at free of cost among 3,000 poor families to bring Nilphamari sadar upazila under cent percent sanitation coverage.
Presided over by Upazila Council Chairman Abujar Rahman, the rally was also addressed by Deputy Commissioner Zakir Hossain, District Council Chairman Mamtajul Haq, Public Health Executive Engineer Abdul Qader, Upazila Nirbahi Officer M Sabet Ali and Sadar Upazila Union Council Chairmen Forum President Shahjahan Chowdhury and General Secretary Hafizur Rahman.
At the same venue, the minister distributed corrugated iron sheets and cash money among 37 fire-affected families of Gorgram, Tupamari, Chaurabarogachha and Khokshabari unions and the local municipality area.
