Notorious extremist held in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, Apr 23 (BSS): Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) rounded up an accused of Taherpur police killing case Goldar Hossain alias Hitler (25) from Durgapur municipality area in the district Thursday night.
Police said Hitler, son of late Ajaher Ali Pramanik of Koyamazampur village under the Durgapur Upazila, is the charge-sheeted accused of Taherpur police killing and firearms looting case and Durgapur Municipality Commissioner Anwar Hossain murder case.
On a tip-off, a RAB team conducted a raid and arrested him from in front of the municipality market.
An active member of the outlawed Purba Banglar Communist Party, Hitler was involved in various criminal activities including extortion, drug trading and terrorism for long and was wanted by the law enforcers.
