Detective branch of police arrested on Sunday night a man from Baburtola area in the port city in connection with the threat to blow up the district court, reports UNB.
The arrestee was identified as Nasir Mohammad,46, a resident of the area.
Manas Kumer Das, a lawyer of the court, received the bomb threat over his phone from an unknown caller on October 14.
The caller identifying himself as a JMB member threatened the lawyer to blow off the court building with bombs. Later, a case was filed in this connection.
