One gets 10 yrs' imprisonment for possessing arms

JESSORE, Sept 28 (UNB): A court here Wednesday convicted a man and awarded him 10 years imprisonment for possessing arms.
The convict is Masum Billah alias Billal, son of Afsar Gazi of Sarafpur village in Keshabpur Upazila.
According to prosecution, acting on a tip-off, police raided Tatir Bagan area of Mirzanagar in the Upazila and arrested Masum. The police recovered one pistol after searching his body. A case was filed against him under Arms Act.
