One LMG, one pistol, 22 bullets recovered

BHOLA, Oct 7 (UNB): Police recovered a light machinegun (LMG), nine rounds of bullets and a sharp weapon from an embankment at Bhabani area of Doulatkhan Upazila Friday.
Police said tea stall owner Latif Baksi found the arms and ammunition wrapped in a polythene bag while he was digging land near the embankment and informed the local police.
Another report from Kishoreganj adds: RAB personnel recovered a pistol and 13 rounds of bullets from the house of a former chairman of Jafarabad Union Parishad (UP) in Karimganj Upazila Thursday night.
Acting on a tip-off, the elite force raided the house of Asaduzzaman and recovered the firearm and ammunition. A case was filed in this connection.
