The three-day orientation programme for women lawmakers concluded here Monday with distribution of certificates among them, reports BSS.
Speaker Abdul Hamid Advocate as the chief guest on the occasion distributed certificates among 45 women Members of Parliament, who took part in the programme.
National Democratic Institute (NDI) and Bangladesh Alliance for Women Leadership (BDAWL) jointly organised the programme in cooperation with USAID.
Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Col (Retd) Shawkat Ali, Chief Whip of the Opposition Zainul Abedin Farroque, US Ambassador to Bangladesh James F Moriarty were special guests at the concluding session.
