KUSHTIA, Sept 10 (UNB) Shafiq (36), a cadre of outlawed party Ganamukti Fouj, was killed in a shootout between his cohorts and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) at Shamaspur village under Khoksha Upazila Wednesday.brActing on a tip-off, a team of RAB-12 conducted a raid in the area, where the outlawed party cadres were holding a clandestine meeting at about 445 am, RAB sources said.brSensing the presence of the elite force, the extremists opened fire on them, forcing the law-enforcers to fire back triggering a gunfight.
