Palak pledges to transform Ctg into Silicon City

CHATTOGRAM, Feb 17 (BSS): State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak on Saturday said Chattogram will be transformed into a Silicon City.

"Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given three gifts including Sheikh Kamal IT Business Incubator Center, Sheikh Kamal IT Training Center and Incubation and another is Knowledge Park for the development of the information technology sector of Chattogram. When these works will be completed, Chattogram will transform into a Silicon City," he said.

Junaid Ahmed Palak said these while addressing the opening ceremony of the 5th International Technology Fair organised by Chattogram Chambers and Commerce and Industries (CCCI) at the city's World Trade Center here as chief guest.

The state minister said, "IT freelancers in our country should be turned into entrepreneurs through proper training for the development of Bangladesh and to fulfill the Prime Minister's dream."
