A Dhaka court has placed former state minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak on a three-day remand again in a case over a murder in the capital's Chankharpul area during July-August uprising, reports UNB.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sefatullah passed the order after rejecting the bail plea on Monday.
Investigating officer and Sub-Inspector Sheikh Hadiuzzaman of Shahbagh police station sought a seven-day remand.
Meanwhile, a Dhaka court has placed Shah Kamal, former senior secretary of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, on a two- day remand in a case lodged over the murder of Juba Dal leader Shamim.
