Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon said on Saturday people of the country want to see continuation of the ongoing development process to build a happy and prosperous country, reports BSS.
"People of the country are leading a happy life as the present government has implemented various programnmes for building an economically advanced country," he told a view exchange meeting with local people on the premises of Arambag Girls School and College in the city, an official release said.
Menon said BNP is conspiring to foil the next general election as the party (BNP) understands their political bankruptcy.
BNP would not participate in the upcoming parliamentary polls as the party would not able to win the election, he added.
