People will elect AL in election: Nasim

PABNA, Feb 2 (BSS): Awami League presidium member and Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim today said that the Jatiya Sangsad election will be held in December next expressing optimism the people would give their verdict in favour of Awami League.

The BNP will not be able to foil the next election by any means, he said, adding that the people will cast their vote for 'boat, election symbol of Awami League, to help the country move forward under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina.

The Awami League leader was speaking as the chief guest at a rally at Sujanagar NA College playground, organised by upazila Awami League.

Referring to the Zia Orphanage Trust Graft case, Nasim said the government has no control over the judiciary. The BNP fears the judiciary and also the people's verdict, he said.
