Permanent Shahid Minar set up in Italy

A permanent Shahid Minar has been inaugurated at Adriatic port city Bari in Italy recently, reports BSS.
Deputy Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Col (retd) Shawkat Ali inaugurated the Shahid Minar, constructed by Bangladesh Social Welfare Samity recently.
Bangladesh Ambassador to Italy Masud Bin Momen and distinguished personalities of Bangladesh and Italy were present on the occasion, among others.
Popular singers Fakir Alamgir, Kumar Biswajit and other artistes performed songs at the function.
In Europe, the first permanent Shahid Minar was set up in the United Kingdom.
