Petrol bomb hurled at JP central office

Miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at the Jatiya Party (JP) central office at Kakrail in the city early Sunday, reports UNB.

A presidium member of the party, requesting anonymity, said unidentified miscreants set fire to their office by hurling a petrol bomb at the five-storey building in the area around 4:30 am.

The building also houses the office of Jatiya Chhatra Samaj, student wing of Jatiya Party, on the ground floor.

Later, local people went to the spot and doused the blaze.

No one was hurt in the incident.
