Philippines President, Georgian PM greet Sheikh Hasina

Philippines President Benigno S Aquino III and Georgia Prime Minister (PM) Irakli Garibashvili have congratulated Sheikh Hasina on her re-election as the PM of Bangladesh, reports UNB.

In a message to Hasina, the Philippines President wished the PM all the best in promoting development for the people of Bangladesh.

He also expressed his country's commitment to maintain and further strengthen the existing friendly relations with Bangladesh, said a Foreign Ministry media release on Thursday night.

In separate messages, Irakli Garibashvili congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the assumption of office of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.

In his message to Hasina, the Prime Minister of Georgia assured Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina that Georgia attaches great importance to the promotion of closer ties with Bangladesh.

He also expressed his desire to maintain and further strengthen the existing friendly relations between the two countries Bangladesh and Georgia.

The Georgian Prime Minister wished further success, peace and prosperity to the Prime Minister and the people of Bangladesh.
