PM condemns attack on Feni Magistrate

Strongly condemning the attack on Executive Magistrate of Feni Md Abdul Qader Mia by the miscreants of BNP and Jamaat-Shibir, Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina asked the authorities concerned Saturday to bring to justice the real culprits of the cowardice and heinous attack by tracking them down, reports UNB.

Prime Minister's press secretary AKM Shameem Chowdhuri said the PM enquired about the treatment of Abdul Qader and wished his early recovery.

She also directed the authorities concerned to ensure his better treatment.

On Friday, Abdul Qader suffered injuries when miscreants hurled a crude bomb at a microbus carrying him near the police quarters on Shaheed Shahidullah Qaiser Road in Feni town around 9:05 pm.

Mr Qader was on his way to Dhaka-Chittagong Highway to perform his duty with members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
