PM greets Abe on his reelection

Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina congratulated her Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe on his reelection as Japan's Prime Minister, reports UNB.

"I'm most delighted to convey to you on behalf of the people and the government of Bangladesh the heartiest congratulations and warmest greetings on your reelection," she said in a message to Abe.

The PM said the existing bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Japan would further be strengthened and broadened through shared endeavours in the days to come.

Sheikh Hasina said the empathic victory of Liberal Democratic Party bears the testimony to the dedicated services Abe has rendered to his country over the years.
