PM greets Tulip, Rushanara, Rupa for UK polls victory

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina greeted on Friday  granddaughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Tulip Siddiq, Rushanara Ali and Rupa Huq, the three Bangladesh-origin candidates, for being elected in the UK parliamentary polls held on Thursday, reports UNB.

PM's Special Assistance Mahbubul Hoque Shakil told the news agency that in a congratulatory message the Prime Minister said these wins glorify the participation of migrant Bangladeshis in British politics.

Tulip's aunty Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed gratitude to those who work hard for the victory of Tulip who supported her from home and abroad, helped and sought blessing for her win.
