Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina hosted an iftar for orphans, physically-challenged children, war-wounded freedom fighters (FFs), ulema (Islamic scholars) and meritorious students at her official Ganobhaban residence on the second day of the holy Ramadan Tuesday, reports BSS.
The PM went round different tables set for the guests, exchanged pleasantries with them and enquired about their well-being.
Before the iftar, a special munajat was offered seeking continued peace, progress and prosperity for the nation. Khatib of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Maulana M Salauddin Ahmed conducted the munajat.
