As debates fire up over the 16th constitutional amendment, a number of top government figures were seen entering Bangabhaban until filing of the report at 10.00 pm on Wednesday, reports bdnews24.com.
Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina arrived at the official residence of President Md Abdul Hamid for a meeting on Wednesday evening.
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader and Attorney General (AG) Mahbubey Alam reached Bangabhaban before the PM. Law Minister Anisul Huq also went there, the government sources said.
Mr Quader, also the road transport minister, had gone to see the president on Monday.
