PM mourns death of Agartala case accused MA Samad

Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina has expressed profound shock at the death of freedom fighter Corporal (retd) MA Samad, an accused in the Agartala conspiracy case, report agencies.

Samad was also president of Awami League Mathbaria upazila unit in Pirojpur district.

In a condolence message on Monday, the PM recalled with deep gratitude Samad's contribution to the struggle for the country's independence.

She prayed for salvation of his departed soul and expressed sympathy for his bereaved family members.
