PM pays tributes to Bangabandhu

TUNGIPARA (Gopalganj), Jun 10 (BSS): Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina today paid rich tributes to father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths on his mazar here. After placing the wreaths, the PM stood in solemn silence for sometime as a mark of respect to the memory of the great leader. Sheikh Hasina also offered fateha there. A munajat was offered seeking eternal peace for the departed soul of Bangabandhu and other martyrs of the August 15 carnage. Ambassador-at-Large M Ziauddin, AL Religious Affairs Secretary Sheikh Md Abdullah, PM's Military Secretary Major General Mia Mohammad Joynul Abedin, Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad and Special Assistant (media) Mabubul Hoque Shakil, among others, were present.
