PM thanks Indian counterpart Modi for Eid greetings

Prime Minister (PM) Tarique Rahman has thanked Indian PM Narendra Modi for extending Eid-ul-Azha greetings to him and the people of Bangladesh, reports UNB.

In a message posted on the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) Facebook page in response to Modi's greetings, Tarique Rahman said, "I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his very kind greetings to me and the people of Bangladesh on the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Azha."

"May the relations between the peoples of Bangladesh and India continue to be strengthened on the foundations of mutual respect, friendship and goodwill," he added.
