PM to address rally in Satkania on March 1

CHITTAGONG, Feb 2 (BSS): Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina is expected to address a public rally on March 1 in Satkania Upazila of the district.

General Secretary of the Chittagong South district unit of Bangladesh Awami League (AL) Mofizur Rahaman disclosed this at a press conference in Chittagong Press Club (CPC) Sunday.

Chittagong South district unit of AL arranged the press conference protesting the attack on AL Member of Parliament (MP) Dr Abu Reaza Mohammad Nezamuddin Nodovi by the Jamaat-Shibir activists.

AL leader Mofizur Rahaman said the AL will also bring out a Long March toward Satkania led by Chittagong city AL president and former mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury on February 8 protesting recent attacks and continuous violent acts and anarchy by the Jamaat-Shibir activists in the upazila.
