Police arrests 2,256 more in countrywide drive

Police arrested 2,256 persons on various charges in separate drives across the country in 24 hours until 6:00 am Thursday, reports UNB.
Six firearms, four bullets and two cocktails were also recovered during the drive.
Besides, 43 motorcycles were seized for not having valid documents during the drive and 408 cases were filed in this connection.
