Police have arrested six members of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) from Dhaka University campus amid the countrywide strike called by the BNP-led 20-Party alliance, report agencies.
The student activists of the BNP were arrested in two phases Monday morning, said Shahbagh Police OC Sirajul Islam.
Three were nabbed in front of the university's Institute of Modern Language (IML) and the rest were picked up in front of Ekushey Hall, he said.
