Police nab 'missing' Narayanganj JCD chief with 'pistol'

NARAYANGANJ, Sept 17 (UNB): District Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) President Moshiour Rahman Rony, who reportedly went missing from the capital on Saturday night, was arrested along with arms from Fatullah area early Monday, claim police.

Tipped off, a team of police arrested Rony with a foreign pistol and three bullets from Dapa in the early hours, said Shah Mohammad Manjur Quader, officer-in-charge of Fatullah Model thana.

Earlier on Sunday, Rony's brother Mohibur Rahman Rana claimed the Detective Branch of police picked the JCD leader up from Badda in the capital around 11:30 pm on Saturday.
