Police Service delivery Centre opens in B'baria

BRAHMANBARIA, Sep 14: Police Service Delivery Centre was inaugurated at the Ashuganj Police Station here recently to establish friendly community-police relations based on mutual understanding, trust and co-operation to prevent crime.
A 'Police Open Day' was also arranged at the Ashuganj Police Station, which will be a regular event for the police station involving the local people.
The main objective of the Day is to facilitate interaction, foster partnership between people and police and to ensure community involvement in the process.
The Service Delivery Centre aims at providing better and community-friendly services to the people.
The Brahmanbaria district Police Administration organised the inaugural ceremony of the Service Delivery Centre and Police Open Day.
Brahmanbaria Police Super Md Ataul Kibria inaugurated the Service Delivery Centre of Ashuganj Police Station.
Ashuganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Rezaul Maksud Jahedi presided over the function. Senior assistant police Super of Brahmanbaria Sadar Circle Md Jahorul Islam conducted the function. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ashuganj Police Station Ratan Dash Gupta also spoke on the occasion.
All union parishad chairmen of Ashuganj upazila, businessmen, local journalists, teachers, elite and common people attended the function and participated in the discussions.
