Acting United States (US) Ambassador Geeta Pasi Sunday hosted a party that brought together senior politicians of different hues and business leaders, reports bdnews24.com.
One of the leaders said the get-together was intended to introduce two new US diplomats -- Counsellor in-charge of political and economic affairs Jon Danilowicz, and Political Officer Dan Biers.
BNP's Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan, Chowdhury Kamal Ibne Yusuf, Nazrul Islam Khan, Zahiruddin Swapan, Nazir Hossain and Giasuddin Quader Chowdhury were present.
Tofail Ahmed, Motia Chowdhury, Sultan M Mansur Ahmed and Asaduzzaman Noor from the Awami League attended the party.
FBCCI President Mir Nasir Hossain, MCCI President Latifur Rahman, CPD's Rehman Sobhan and Debapriya Bhattacharya were also present on the occasion.
