President accepts Justice Rezaul Hasan's resignation

President Mohammed Shahabuddin has accepted the resignation letter of High Court Justice Md Rezaul Hasan, reports BSS.
A gazette notification signed by Law and Justice Division Secretary Liaquet Ali Molla said Justice Md Rezaul Hasan has resigned from his office by submitting a signed letter to the President in accordance with clause (8) of Article 96 of the constitution.
Justice Hasan submitted his resignation letter on March 31. Supreme Court Registrar General Mohammad Habibur Rahman Siddiquee on that day had said, "Justice Md Rezaul Hasan submitted his resignation citing personal reasons. Justice Rezaul Hasan was appointed as an additional judge of the High Court Division in June 30, 2009.
